Lion

This lion is made of hundreds of triangles in yellow, grey and black. The animation starts with a few shards in the middle of the frame and lets the rest fly in, each one turning and growing into its place, until the mane and the open jaw come together into one roaring head.

The staggered timing gives the build its rhythm. It is SVG animated with GSAP.

Patryk made it before Wishfish Studio existed. The full case study is on his own portfolio.
